NormCyber, the award-winning UK-based security operations specialist, today announced that it has won the Outstanding Cyber Security Team category at the Cyber OSPAs, recognising the contribution of Norm’s Focal Analysts team in driving measurable improvements in cyber resilience across a broad range of sectors, including highly regulated environments.

The Cyber OSPAs celebrate innovative companies, teams and individuals from across the global cyber security sector, with entries assessed against rigorous ethical standards and supported by a broad coalition of industry bodies and special interest groups, including CREST, SASIG, techUK and the UK Cyber Security Council.

Norm was commended for its evidence backed approach to managed security, with judges recognising how the team consistently delivers meaningful outcomes for customers, including a 100% uplift in Cyber Resilience Scores within the first year.

Norm’s Focal Analyst model ensures each client works closely with a dedicated senior security analyst who acts as an extension of the inhouse team, coordinating with Norm’s wider SOC, CSIRT, ethical hacking and data protection specialists. This approach enables organisations to turn complex security data into clear priorities and structured improvement plans.

Judges at the Cyber OSPAs said; “NormCyber’s Focal Analysts Team has redefined managed security by making cyber resilience measurable and accountable. Aligning live telemetry to the NCSC CAF, they deliver sustained resilience improvement, stronger governance, and reduced client exposure. The Team combines diverse skills to reduce exposure and demonstrate tangible results, supported by evidence from multiple client assignments. Their credible and technically capable approach delivers effective cybersecurity monitoring and response services within a managed security environment, making a real difference to their clients.”

“We’ve always believed that cyber resilience needs to be evidenced,” said Wayne Churchill, CEO of NormCyber. “Our Focal Analysts help organisations understand where they stand, what matters most and how to keep improving their cyber defences over time. This award is a strong endorsement of that philosophy.”

This win builds on NormCyber’s continued recognition at the Cyber OSPAs, following its success in the Outstanding Customer Service Initiative category in 2025.
