NormCyber, the UK-based cyber security operations specialist, has been shortlisted for InfoSec Team of the Year at the 2026 PICCASO Awards Europe, recognising its innovative approach to helping organisations measure, improve and demonstrate cyber resilience as a core business capability.
The PICCASO Awards celebrate excellence across cyber security, information security, privacy and governance, recognising organisations and individuals advancing innovation, leadership and best practice across the industry. This marks the third consecutive year that Norm has been recognised by the awards.
The shortlist reflects the impact of Norm’s cyber security and governance, risk and compliance (GRC) expertise, and its ability to deliver measurable improvements in clients’ security maturity. Central to this approach is the Cyber Resilience Score (CRS) – an empirical metric based on the National Cyber Security Centre’s Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF). Every customer receives a live score out of 100, benchmarked against industry peers and supported by a prioritised roadmap for continuous improvement.
Turning those insights into measurable outcomes is the role of Norm’s Focal Analysts, a dedicated team of senior cyber security specialists who work closely with each customer to reduce risk, prioritise remediation and drive continual improvement. Together, the CRS and Focal Analyst model provide organisations with a structured, evidence-based approach to strengthening cyber resilience and demonstrating progress over time.
“Cyber security has become increasingly effective at measuring activity, but organisations need a better way to understand whether their resilience is genuinely improving,” said Wayne Churchill, CEO of NormCyber. “As cyber resilience becomes a board-level priority, leaders need objective evidence that investment is translating into stronger security outcomes. We’re delighted to be recognised by the PICCASO Awards for the work our team is doing to help customers measure what matters and continuously strengthen their resilience.”
The winners of the 2026 PICCASO Awards Europe will be announced at the awards ceremony on 2 December 2026 at Grosvenor House, London.
