NormCyber, the award-winning UK-based security operations specialist, today announced it has been named a finalist in the Outstanding Cyber Security Team category at the Cyber OSPAs 2026, recognising the impact of its team in delivering measurable improvements in cyber resilience for organisations operating across all sectors, including in highly regulated environments.
The Cyber OSPAs celebrate innovative companies, teams and individuals from across the global cyber security sector, with entries assessed against rigorous ethical standards. The awards are supported by a broad coalition of industry bodies and special interest groups, including CREST, SASIG, techUK and the UK Cyber Security Council.
Norm was named a finalist after successfully evidencing how its team has driven outstanding performance, such as helping clients achieve a 100% uplift in their Cyber Resilience Score within their first year. This proprietary, real-time metric that quantifies organisations’ resilience to cyber risk exposure in alignment with the National Cyber Security Centre’s Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF).
Norm supports its clients through a structured improvement roadmap. Central to this is Norm’s Focal Analyst model, where each client is assigned a senior security analyst who invests time to develop a deep knowledge of an organisation’s environment and goals, becoming an extension of their in-house team supported by Norm’s SOC, CSIRT, ethical hackers and data protection specialists, and trained to translate complex telemetry into clear commercial risk insight.
“This shortlisting reflects the collective effort of our cyber security team in helping organisations move from reactive security management to a more structured, performance led approach to cyber,” said Wayne Churchill, CEO of NormCyber. “Our focus is on continuously improving how we support customers and ensuring cyber posture is clearly communicated to all levels of the organisations we work with. We are proud to see that work recognised by the Cyber OSPAs.”
The Cyber OSPAs awards ceremony will take place on 29 April 2026 at the Birmingham Metropole Hotel. Further details about the awards can be found on the Cyber OSPAs website here.
