NormCyber, the UK-based security operations specialist, today announced it will host a complimentary, interactive briefing event with Northern Ireland’s leading housing provider, Clanmil Housing, on 26th November 2025 at the Belfry Hotel & Resort, Warwickshire.

Public sector organisations are under constant pressure to modernise systems, protect data and maintain trust, all while working within tight budgets and increasing scrutiny. The “How to Quantify & Build Cyber Resilience in Housing Associations: Lessons from the Frontline” event offers senior public sector IT leaders the opportunity to learn how to move from awareness to action and benchmark their approach to cyber security.

The discussion will be led by Norm’s Chief Technology Officer, Paul Cragg, and Clanmil Housing’s IT Director, Peter Grimley, and explore how the housing provider moved from identifying cyber resilience as a board-level responsibility, to reducing vulnerabilities by 60 percent within one month of working with Norm. The project, which saved an estimated £235,000 per annum for Clanmil Housing, was highly commended at the 2025 Housing Technology Awards.

During the event, participants will gain a practical framework to quantify and manage cyber risk in their own organisations in a way that strengthens governance, leadership and culture, then share experiences through candid peer networking.

Attendees will also be offered a free, follow-up Incident Response Readiness Assessment. Led by Norm’s NCSC-assured and CREST-approved Incident Response team, the private workshop enables organisations to test their preparedness against common attack scenarios, rehearse roles and responsibilities, and obtain tailored guidance to help them prepare for breaches.

“Housing associations and public sector bodies are high-value targets for attackers, making the aftermath of breaches devastating. We’ve seen instances where essential service delivery is disrupted for years, leaving a lasting impact on some of society’s most vulnerable people,” said Paul Cragg, CTO, NormCyber. “Cyber resilience in this sector stems from knowing where the risks lie, how to measure them, and how to act with confidence when the stakes are high. We want people to walk away from this session with clarity, confidence, and a framework they can put into practice.”

The event will take place at the Belfry Hotel & Resort between 10:00-12:30 on 26th November 2025, with registrations still open.
